Had some problems with blogger, couldn't get into it, because its linked with an old emailadres... pfff
This month on Challenge yourself: use negative space, such a strong way to make a super layout with a great picture.
For this Challenge I've used the original photo, with little hole's in it, because I used to pin in in the wall above my workspace.
The small amount of paper is Kaisercraft.
The other layout is one I made in january; couldn't post it ;(
The november challenge on Challenge yourself is super: use a picture of yourself, thankful is the word and use a banner in the layout. On the blog you will find so many very good layout from the design team.
I've used a 10 year old picture from me in Morocco. A co-worker gave this trip to me as a big surprise. I never was in the opportunity to travel a lot, and this was a super trip totally outside of my box!
I've used Prima paper and left over flowers. The big title was a left from of a Project Life album I made last year.
On the hidden journaling I've put: ' So thankful for the opportunity to travel. I love my adventure in the desert (riding a very big scary camel).
Now there is a super nice challenge on: Challenge yourself. On this blog, with the very energetic owner Sharon Fritchman, you are challenged to make a lovely layout, with a picture of you in it.
Very nice. My scrapbook albums are all immense, but the book of 'me' was the smallest. Now ... it's growing and I love it, all those memories.
I've made a layout with new paper from Echo Park, ' Fall is in the air'. Used a picture, a sort of selfie, from me in a beautiful woody area, in Bergen, Holland. Nice long walk with super colors and taking lots of mushroom pictures.
Have done a little fusy cutting, I'm not very good at it. The kompas in the background is a little reminder of the fact that I got lost on this walk. Something that happens not very often to me....
The challenge is to use these lovely autumn colors.
On Challenge Yourself this month a beautiful and difficult challenge: Art for Inspiration.
I took inspiration from the colors orange and blue, and the mood that is a little melancholy.
I've used pictures from my holiday in Morocco, about 10 years ago.
Did a little backgroundwork and altered some plain flowers.
I've used papers from my large stock ;)
I've made this layout with a picture of me in 1971... like 15 of 16! On a beach in Holland, a bit sexy but in fact I was so shy .....
The title shine has to do with the sun: this summer was so hot and the sun was always shining. At least, as I remember it. On my bikini was a little beltbuckle, like in the layout. I remember it clearly, it used to hang down a little, very anoying when I was sunbathing... hahaha.
